Overview

Day 1: Arrive Srinagar – Shikara Ride

Day 2: Srinagar City Sightseeing

After the breakfast, visit the world-famous Mughal Gardens – Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love), and Chashme Shahi Garden, and also pay visit to the Shankaracharya Temple. Evening free for shopping.

Overnight stay at the houseboat.

Day 3: Srinagar – Excursion to Gulmarg (60 km / Approx 2-3 Hours Drive- One Way)

After the breakfast in the morning, we will begin our countryside tour towards Gulmarg. We will drive past colorful villages and rice fields that will give you an insight into the rich culture of Kashmir.

The 08 minutes of ropeway ride on Gulmarg Gondola will take you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Apharwat Peak. From here, you can click lots of pictures. After spending time here, we will descend to Gulmarg base after an hour.

Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4: Srinagar – Excursion to Pahalgam (100 Km / Approx. 3½ Hour Drive - One Way)

After the breakfast, a drive to Pahalgam. Known as ‘The valley of Shepherds or Trekker’s Paradise,’ Pahalgam (2133 mts) is one of the most popular tourist places in Kashmir and the top preference for Indian Film Industry.

En route, visit Saffron fields, Awantipur ruins (1100-yr-old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiverma), the beauty of the countryside and lots of rice fields.

Arrive Pahalgam and transfer to the hotel. After the lunch, visit the scenic and rocky valley of Chandanwadi, Snow Point (around 14 km from Pahalgam) and also enjoy an exciting pony ride.

Please note, all these activities will be conducted at your own expenses.

Return to your hotel in the evening. Enjoy the surroundings of Pahalgam on foot.

Dinner will be served at your hotel.

Note : In Pahalgam, outside vehicles are not allowed for sightseeing. Only local taxis can roam around within Pahalgam. All outside vehicles will only be able to offer pick up & drop from the hotel.

Day 5: Srinagar - Shopping

After the breakfast in the morning, you can spend your full day for shopping in Srinagar. In Kashmir, you can buy handicrafts as gift items. Kashmiri artwork is known worldwide for its unique artistic work and the grandeur. Whenever you visit a place, you always pick something that is either unique or for which the place is famous for.

You take that thing as a memory of that place. Hence, shopping becomes an essential part of your trip. If you wish to shortlist what to buy in Srinagar, here are some of the famous items. Pashmina Shawls, Kashmiri Tea, Carpets, Walnut wood products, Spices, Popular Fruits, Dry fruits, Traditional Jewelry, Paper Mache Products, Kashmir Willow Bats Etc. Evening free for leisure.

Day 6: Srinagar Airport Drop

Early morning after breakfast go for sightseeing to places like the St. Francis Church and Dutch Palace. Take a Harbour Cruise Ride to see the famous Chinese Fishing Nets. Afternoon free for self-activities. Overnight stay at hotel.
