Come explore two beautiful states of southern India, Tamil Nadu and Kerala that replete with galore and fragrance, lush greenery and vivid beauty. In our 13N/14D tour package, we will pamper you to the fullest by providing a list of amazing itinerary that will tour you around inspiring places. Our first stop from the itinerary will drop you to Chennai where you get to see museums, parks, and of course the beach. After a visit to this modern city of Tamil Nadu, you will further be taken down towards the ancient fishing town of Mahabalipuram. Here, you can visit the age-old temples, explore the sculpted rocks and lie on the beach overlooking the golden sunset. Our tour package will also guide you to Tamil Nadu’s beautiful place where once the French ruled in Pondicherry. Sightseeing its attractive architecture, ashrams and museums is definitely an experience to gain while here. Kumbakonam is a sacred destination in Tamil Nadu that houses four large temples dedicated to Sarangapani, Kumbeswarar, Brahma and Nageswarar. You can visit all the planetary temples and also explore the village lifestyle while here. While in Tamil Nadu, our package will also take you to visit Tanjore and Madurai. In Tanjore, you can visit the art gallery and the famous Sri Brihadeeswara temple and in Madurai, you can witness the procession of Lord Siva taken in a palanquin in the evening ceremony at Meenakshi Temple. Further down towards the south-west of India, you can visit one of Kerala’s best places to see wildlife at Periyar National Park. While here, you may see animal species like tiger, elephant, boar, languor, bison and plantations where you get to see flora such as Coffee, Tea, Cardamom, Pepper and more. A drive to one of the scenic destination of Kumarakom in Kerala is always heart-warming. Here, all you can do is simply relax and spend time in the traditional house boats and cruise around the backwaters of Kerala. Our last stop of the tour package will lead you to Cochin where you can sightsee Portuguese houses, old churches and Chinese fishing nets.
Itinerary
Day 1:Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi on arrival Garlanding with a traditional Indian welcome and transferred to the Hotel. Afternoon city tour of Old and New Delhi offers a stunning contrast between the ancient and modern.
Day 2:Delhi - Hyderabad
After a morning at leisure, late afternoon transfer to airport time to board flight for Hyderabad, now the capital of Andhra Pradesh, on arrival transfer to the hotel. O/N at Hotel.
Day 3:Golconda Fort Excursion - Hyderabad Sightseeing
Morning visit fort of Golconda is the former capital of the Qutub Shahi dynasty. Afternoon visit of the city. O/N at hotel.
Day 4:Hyderabad - Bangalore - Mysore
Morning transfer to the airport time to board flight for Bangalore, one of the most beautiful cities of India. On arrival take to the city tour Then straight drive to Mysore, wending along through verdant and hilly countryside. On arrival check in at the hotel. O/N at the Hotel.
Day 5:Mysore Sightseeing
Morning Sightseeing of the Mysore (city of stately palaces, gardens, parks and museums ). Afternoon is at leisure. This evening, enjoy the beautiful and exquisitely illuminated Brindavan Gardens, sprawling amid gorgeous cascading fountains. O/N at Hotel.
Day 6: Mysore - Belur - Halebid - Chikmaglur
Morning Drive to Belur en’route Stop at Shravanabelagola..Arrive Belur, on the banks of the Yagachi River, was the capital of the Hoysala Empire over 800 years ago. then proceed to Halebid an outstanding example of Indian temple architecture is found in Halebid, Drive Continue on to Chikmagalur. O/N at Hotel.
Day 7:Chikmagalur - Cochin
Transfer to the airport time to board flight for Cochin in the state of Kerala. On arrival transfer to the Hotel. Later proceed for the sightseeing tour of Cochin. At night enjoy a special presentation of the colorfully costumed Kathakali dance drama. O/N at Hotel.
Day 8:Cochin - Kumarakom
Depart this morning for Kumarakom on arrival check in at Hotel. Afternoon is at leisure O/N at Hotel.
Day 9:The Backwaters Cruise
Morning enjoy a boat ride through the series of canals and lagoons snaking their way through several tiny villages and tropical vegetation. O/N at Hotel.
Day 10:Vembanad Bird Sanctuary - Chennai (Madars)
Take a boat ride this morning on Vembanad Lake to the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Afterwards, return to Cochin and fly to Chennai (formerly Madras), on arrival transfer to the hotel. O/N at Hotel.
Day 11:Kanchipuram & Mahabalipuram Excursion
Morning Drive to Kanchipuram, (02Hrs). One of the seven sacred cities of India, served as a capital for several dynasties, Kanchipuram is also renowned for its silk, a traditional cottage industry. Then proceed to Mahabalipuram. O/N at hotel.
Day 12:Chennai Sightseeing - Depart Chennai
Morning tour of Chennai. Afternoon free. Late evening transfer to the Intl Airport time to board flight for onward destination.
