Itinerary
Day 1:Arrive Imphal - City with Picturesque Natural Beauty and Landscapes
- Upon arrival at Tulihal Airport you will be greeted and transferred to hotel.
- In the afternoon, tourists will be taken on visit the popular tourist attractions including the Kangla Historical Fort & Imphal Museum etc.
- Once done with the exploring Imphal, the overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 2: Imphal
- After the breakfast, tourists will proceed to the Loktak Lake which is the largest freshwater lake in Northeast and Keibul Lamjao National Park which is the only floating park in the world.
- The next visit will be to the INA Museum which contain letters, photograph, badges of ranks and other memorabilia and visit the War Memorial.
- In the afternoon, tourists will be taken to the Ima bazaar, where one can buy souvenirs to take back home.
- The tour in Imphal ends and tourists will be back to the hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 3: Imphal - Kohima
- After the breakfast, tourists will be heading to Kohima. Enroute, tourists will get the opportunity to visit Kisama heritage village showcasing different Naga houses and related articles.
- On arrival at Kohima, tourists be transferred to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4:Kohima - A Land of Untouched Beauty Endowed with Quaint Hills and Emerald Forests
- After breakfast tourist will proceed to Kohima sightseeing
- A visit to the World War II Cemetery that lies in a beautiful surrounding is a tribute to the warriors who made supreme sacrifices in the battle of World War II.
- Once done with exploring the World War II, a visit to the Bishop’s Cathedral, and the Nagaland State Museum etc will be done.
- Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5:Kohima - Kaziranga
- Next morning, after breakfast, tourists will be leaving for Kaziranga National Park which is inhabited by the world’s largest population i.e., the one – horned rhinoceroses. The national park was declared as the World Heritage Site by UNESCO in the year 1985 for its unique natural environment.
- On arrival, tourists will have to check into the wildlife resort where tourists can stay overnight.
Day 6: Kaziranga - Home to One-Horned Rhino and a World Heritage Site
- Early morning tourists will proceed for the elephant (Joy Ride) in outer part of the national park for wildlife viewing. After the ride, tourists will return back to the hotel.
- The entire day will be free when tourists can enjoy beautiful surrounding of Tea gardens.
- Overnight stay will be at wildlife resort.
Day 7:Kaziranga - Bomdila
- Next morning after the breakfast, tourists will proceed to Bomdila which is the headquarter of West Kameng District of Arunachal Pradesh. The place is even known for its Buddhist Monasteries. The destination has a lot of other tourist attractions for the visitors that goes well with the cool climate and attract It has a lot of attractions for the visitors for its cool climate.
- Arriving Bomdila, tourists will check in at hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8:Bomdila - Tawang
- The next morning after having the breakfast, tourists will check out from the hotel and will head to visit the Bomdila Monastery and proceed to Tawang which is the land of Monpa Tribes & major centre of the Mahayana Buddhists.
- Enroute Tawang lies the world’s second highest pass named The Sela Pass which run through a small ridge & along a lake called Paradise Lake.
- Also a visit to Jaswantgarh which is a memorial of the brave soldier who single tried to hold of approaching Chinese from the pass during the 1962 Indo-Chinese war.
- On arriving Tawang, tourists will check into hotel for overnight stay.
Day 9: Tawang - Blessed Land of Beautiful Monasteries
- In the morning after the breakfast, tourists can go for sightseeing in and around Tawang.
- A visit to the Peng Teng TSO Lake, War Memorial and Tawang Monastery. The Monastery is 400-year-old and adorned with the 18 ft. High statue of Lord Buddha. ‘The Land of Dawn-lit Mountain’ at 3500m gives you unparalleled purity of nature.
- Overnight at hotel.
Day 10:Tawang - Bomdila
- Next morning, you will be leaving for Bomdila. On the way enjoy the beauty and majesty of Jung Waterfall and visit Kiwi Garden and Dirang Valley.
- Reaching Bomdila, tourists will check into hotel for overnight stay.
Day 11:Bomdila - Tezpur
- After Breakfast, tourists will leave for Tezpur.
- Reaching Tezpur, tourists can explore the attraction including Mahabhairava mandir, Chitralekha udyan, Agnigarh and Ganesh Ghat.
- Once done with exploring Tezpur, overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 12:Tezpur - Guwahati
- In the morning after breakfast, tourists will proceed to Guwahati.
- Reaching Guwahati by afternoon, tourists will visit Kamakhya Temple which is dedicated to the mother goddess Kamakhya, one of the oldest of the 51 Shakti Pithas & Umananda temples in Brahmaputra River.
- Tourists will return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 13:Guwahati - Shillong
- After the breakfast, tourists will leave for Shillong.
- Enroute, tourists will come across the largest manmade lake of Northeast India named Umiam Lake.
- Arriving Shillong, a visit to the Don Bosco Museum will take you to the wide collection of regional artwork, attires, accoutrements, handicrafts, ornamentation, photographs and weapons.
- Once sightseeing is done, check in at hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14:Shillong - Cherrapunjee - Shillong: Dynamic Landscape with Picturesque Hills, Valleys, Mountains and Rivers
- After breakfast, tourists will proceed for full day excursion to Cherrapunjee which is known as the wettest place on the earth.
- En route, tourists can witness the Shillong Peak which is the highest point in state of Meghalaya and you can get breathtaking view of the entire Shillong City. A visit to the Famous Elephant Falls will take the tourists to a two-tier waterfall set in the dingles of the rocks.
- Arriving Cherrapunjee, tourists can get indulged in visiting the Nohkalikai Falls which is the tallest (fourth highest in World) plunge waterfall in India. After having lunch here, tourists can enjoy the thrilling experience of Mawsmai Cave which is made of limestone.
- After sightseeing at Cherrapunji, tourists can head back to Shillong. Evening is free for shopping.
- Once tourists are done shopping can return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 15:Shillong - Silchar
- After breakfast, tourists will be heading to Silchar.
- On arrival Silchar, tourists will have to check in to the hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 16:Silchar - Aizawl
- Next morning, after the breakfast, tourists will proceed to Aizawl which is the scenic capital of Mizoram.
- On arriving Aizawl tourists will check into hotel.
- Get indulged into sighting the tourist attractions including Mizoram State Museum on Macdonald Hill for a deeper insight into Mizo culture & shop for traditional crafts. Also, a visit to the Bara Bazar will help the tourists come across plenty of things.
- Once done with exploring the city, tourists will return back to the hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 17:Aizawl - Silchar
- Early morning, after the breakfast, tourists will head back to Silchar.
- On arrival at Silchar check in hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 18:Silchar - Agartala
- Early morning after breakfast, tourists will head to Agartala which is the capital city of the state Tripura and renowned as the destination of Royal Palaces and Temples.
- If time permit, a visit to the Ujjayanta Palace which was built by Maharaja Radha Kishore Manikya between 1899-1901 will be made. The former royal palace of the Kingdom of Tripura was located 10 km further from the current Palace and due to a devastating earthquake in 1897 it was destroyed and later rebuilt as Ujjayanta Palace. The name Ujjayanta Palace was given by Rabindranath Tagore – the Gurudev who visited Agartala a number of times.
- Once tourists are done with exploring Agartala, they will be transferred to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 19:Agartala - Udaipur - Agartala
- After breakfast, tourists will be taken to an excursion to Udaipur which is popular as the temple city of Tripura.
- En-route, tourists will come across the Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary which is famous for its Spectacle Monkey.
- Once tourists are done exploring, we will drive to Udaipur to visit the Tripura Sundari temple one of the holiest Shaktipeeths in India of Hindus. The temple of Tripura Sundari consists of square type sanctum of the typical Bengali hut structure with a conical dome and was constructed in 1501 A.D. by the then Maharaja Dhanya Manikya.
- Later tourists will return back to Agartala for overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 20:Agartala – Departure
In the morning, after having breakfast, transfer to the airport to board the flight for onward connection.
