Itinerary
Day 1:Arrive Srinagar – Shikara Ride
Welcome to Srinagar, The Lake City. On arrival at the Srinagar airport, you will be welcomed & received by Tour My India representative/driver, who will then escort you to a jetty around Dal Lake.
The houseboat at Dal lake is going to be your romantic abode for the first night of your Kashmir honeymoon package. After check-in in the houseboat, you can relax for a while.
Later in the evening, proceed for a shikara ride in Dal lake.
Overnight Srinagar at Houseboat
Day 2:Srinagar City Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Srinagar. Visit the world-famous Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh (the garden of pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (abode of love) & the Chashme Shahi Garden, along with Shankaracharya Temple.
Evening is free for shopping. Overnight stay in Srinagar in a Houseboat.
Day 3:Srinagar – Excursion to Sonmarg (90 Kms / Approx 03 Hours Drive- One Way)
After breakfast at the houseboat, leave for a day excursion to Sonmarg, which is a most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way, you can stop at many beautiful spots. Continue the drive to Sonmarg at 2690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold).
One can ride on a horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier (on Pony), where snow remains round the year, and Sonmarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh.
In the evening, return to Srinagar for overnight stay at the Houseboat.
Day 4:Srinagar – Excursion to Pahalgam (100 Km / Approx. 3½ Hour Drive - One Way)
After breakfast at the Houseboat, leave for a day excursion to Pahalgam (2133 mts), also known as ‘The Valley of Shepherds’ or ‘Trekker’s Paradise’. Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. Enroute visit the Saffron fields, Awantipur ruins (1100 yrs old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiverma), see the beautiful countryside and lots of rice fields.
Arrive at Pahalgam and transfer to the hotel. After lunch, visit the scenic and rocky valleys of Chandanwadi, Snow Point (around 14 km from Pahalgam), and also enjoy an exciting pony ride. All these activities will be conducted at your own expense. In the evening, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the Houseboat.
Note: In Pahalgam outside vehicles are not allowed for sightseeing. Only local taxis can roam around within Pahalgam city. All outside vehicle will pick up & drop from Hotel.
Day 5:Srinagar Airport Drop
Begin the last day of your tour package for Kashmir, enjoy a delish breakfast in your hotel at Srinagar. Post breakfast, you will be transferred to the Srinagar Airport. Board your flight for the respective hub with memorable experiences of Tour My India.
Important Information : Due to strict security, you are requested to leave from the hotel at least 4 hours before the departure time. You will have to pass 4 security barriers before reaching the airport. This often leads to long traffic jams right outside the airport.
